The Lenox Hotel

Custodial Engineer – Part Time

The Lenox Hotel is looking for a Custodial Engineer to work within the Housekeeping Department. The Custodial Engineer is responsible for receiving and organizing all linen deliveries, and in turn removing all used linen from the Hotel, ensuring a clean and orderly shipping/receiving area, special cleaning projects in various areas of the hotel, and assisting all areas of the housekeeping, front desk, and engineering departments to ensure our back-of-house shines. An ideal candidate must be able to work both independently and in a team atmosphere. The Custodial Engineer must be able to lift heavy deliveries of linen. Efficiency and hard work contribute to the overall outcome of every guests’ experience. Overnights will be a part of the regular schedule and flexibility with availability is a must.

Reservations Agent – Full Time

Reservation Agents responsibilities are to assist our guests with planning and creating their ideal booking at several Saunders Hotel Group properties. Whether a guest is staying with us for the first time, or is a loyal, repeat customer; the Reservation Agent must make sure all guest information is collected, the appropriate rate has been provided, and the necessary details are communicated to other departments. They will also be responsible for helping input third party bookings, update reservations as necessary, and assist with reporting. The Reservation Agent must have knowledge of hotel and local area  in order to answer questions, and provide the guest with a genuine booking experience. Outstanding communication skills, knowledge of computer systems, and great customer service are a must.

Guest Consultant – Full Time

From arrival to departure, the Guest Consultant manages our guests’ experience at The Lenox. Their main focus is to deliver a warm and friendly welcome to the hotel, assist the guests’ with their check in and check out of their guest room, provide information about the hotel and the surrounding area, and juggle the ongoing activity in the hotel lobby. It is necessary to anticipate and ensure that all guests’ needs are met, elevating each stay from good to great. A full time Guest Consultant will promote an energetic lobby atmosphere and make every guest feel as if they are in their home away from home.

Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro

Food Runner/Busser – Full Time

Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, a neighborhood gem along one of Boston’s most coveted streets, is hiring a Back Waiter. Bistro, by definition, is unpretentious, local and inviting. Our culinary team explores their creativity and passion for local foods with a menu that delivers an experience, not just a plate of food. The 90+ seat restaurant also offers a number of private functions with our rooftop terrace. Our philosophy is that our guest’s experience will never exceed the experience of our employees, and therefore we are looking for people who can positively contribute to our team.

The Back Waiter position is to assist the server’s in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. The Back Waiter will bus and clean tables once guests have finished their meals, set tables for future guests, and assist in running food from the kitchen up to the dining floor. It is important for the Back Waiter to keep the flow from the kitchen to the dining room subtle and seamless, in an effort to create a home away from home experience for our guests.

Server – Full Time

Our culinary team explores their creativity and passion for local foods with a menu that delivers an experience, not just a plate of food. The 90+ seat restaurant also offers a number of private functions with our rooftop terrace. Our philosophy is that our guests’ experience will never exceed the experience of our employees, and therefore we are looking for people who can positively contribute to our team.

The Server role is not just to take orders, but to create an experience. Our galley style dining room has energy, and our servers translate that into an enthusiasm to serve our guests. Our Bistro serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with brunch on the weekends. Servers with one years’ experience desired, and a flexible schedule is a must.

Dishwasher – Part Time

The Dishwasher is essential to the kitchen, ensuring the cooks, servers, and bartenders have the essential tools to perform their roles. Dishwashers are responsible for making sure all dishes, silverware, cookware, and equipment are clean along with rubbish removal. It is important the dishwasher is up to date on all health and safety rules in the kitchen. Dishwashers will frequently be exposed to hot water and clean chemicals. We love to teach and promote within, so this is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in beginning their culinary career. Flexible schedule is required to include weekends.

PM Line Cook – Full Time

The Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to assist in making our Chef’s creations come to life. They will work hard as part of a team to make sure every plate sings. Our culinary team explores their creativity and passion for local foods with a menu that delivers an experience, not just a plate of food. From dicing vegetables, to plating a dish, every step should be done with precision and care. With an ever changing menu of fresh, seasonal ingredients, it is important to be creative and willing to experiment. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a high energy, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Candidates with experience and availability to work Thursday through Sunday evenings are encouraged to apply.
